Gina A. Marotta - Founding Principal
Gina Marotta has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience and has worked in CMBS since 1995. Working on some $30 billion of CMBS transactions, she has managed the establishment of securitization platforms for two commercial mortgage conduits and carried out training of CMBS analysts and underwriters. She has sat on credit committee for proposed conduit loans, managed commercial mortgage correspondents, and overseen all loan servicing aspects during the warehouse period. She has completed some $3 billion in origination underwriting and site inspections, including b-piece bid due diligence. In addition to having extensive experience in commercial real estate across the United States, she has performed due diligence on international transactions, primarily in Mexico, and trained analysts in India on commercial real estate. Ms. Marotta began her real estate career working on the pre-development of a $4 billion of urban mixed-use development projects in California for Catellus Development (now ProLogis). Ms. Marotta holds an MBA from the University of San Diego and a master's degree in international law from Columbia University. Between 1999 and 2003 Ms. Marotta undertook international development work in developing countries. She worked for the United Nations and later founded a non profit organization that worked in developing countries on poverty alleviation and women's rights.
Alejandro D. Marotta - Principal
Alejandro (Alex) Marotta is responsible for managing Argentia's due diligence filed work and site inspection activities. His experience spans all property types. Alex holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of La Plata in Argentina and a certificate in commercial real estate investments from UCLA.
Jennifer Wong - Analyst
Jennifer is an analyst with Argentia working primarily in support of Argentia's b-piece underwriting business. Ms. Wong previously worked as an analyst with Gate Capital in San Francisco. She holds a bachelor's of arts degree in business communications from San Francisco State University. |
