Summary of Experience: In the early 1990s, Argentia’s principal worked with investors on the quantitative analysis (DCF and PV) of higher-balance commercial real estate (“CRE”) distressed assets being sold by the RTC. Between 2008 and 2012, Argentia worked closely with a private-equity firm’s operating partner on due diligence, financial analysis and valuation of community and regional bank small balance distressed CRE portfolios either for an equity raise or portfolio purchase. This relationship also included the due diligence of and bidding on distressed CMBS loan portfolios and regional bank platforms. Argentia also completed valuations of the CRE portfolios of community banks either for FDIC pre-closure assessment or capital investment.
