Since 1998, Argentia has worked with B-Piece buyers and larger due diligence firms undertaking B-Piece buyer due diligence. In 2009, Argentia launched its services in CMBS bond collateral support diligence and re-underwriting, and was a key consultant to one of the US Treasury’s private-equity co-investors under PPIP. Argentia ran a team of seven consultants that underwrote approximately $350 billion in CMBS loans over a 2 ½ year period. Weekly investor presentations were held to assess potential bond purchases. Additional services included monitoring and refreshes.
